Mormon Lives Matter

King James Version Numbers 6: 26 The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. NIV Numbers 6:26 NIV the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.  The Lord is turning his face toward us because he wants to communicate with us - not literally with words most of the time but with friends and family who love the Lord and love you. 

Certainly not as in Numbers 6 where you don't drink wine or grapes, cut your hair or go near a dead person even if it's your own family. (vowing to be a Nazarite). Why did the Lord I want the children of Israel to stay away from deceased and dead people. Maybe it was because how easily bacteria could spread if the person died of unknown causes or disease. Question, what does it mean in the scripture: D&C 59:21 "And in nothing doth man offend God, or against none is his wrath kindled, save those who confess not his hand in all things, and obey not his commandments." The Savior sums up the counsel given “according to law and the prophets” (D&C 59:22) by declaring that the root of many of our sorrows is a lack of acknowledgement of the Lord’s hand in our lives and a lack of appreciation for the blessings He has given to us. Failing to be valiant in Christian discipleship will leave us without significant happiness. Therefore, our active avoidance of wickedness must be followed by our active engagement in righteousness. Then we can come to know true joy—after all, man is that he might have joy (see 2 Ne. 2:25). Furthermore, certain taste buds of our souls may have been burned over by sin, and our Father desires that we regenerate these by repentance. Our Heavenly Father also desires the development of what are presently the many other neglected taste buds of our souls. The war that began in heaven has only changed venues.  We're on earth literally fighting for our souls. For the freedom and burden that comes with free choice and agency. Lucifer is trying to create self-doubt, anger, bitterness and demolish the family, and connections to God and our fellow human beings. If you a moral person, when you wake up, the Devil thinks "I hate when they're awake, they do so much good!" In the temple when we are listening to the instructions as part of the endowment (aka gift of sacred power), the person tells us to: consider yourselves to be like Adam and Eve. I always wondered why that was so important.
