Wisdom from The Dark Side of the Light Chasers p. 112

The cage is our self-imposed limitations our Self Doubt and our fear. We were taught that it's hard work to go after our dreams. We may not have understood that it's even more difficult living day in and day out with the knowledge that we don't pursue them. We are left without desire, which is the key to fulfilling our full spiritual potential. We are left with desperation, which builds up slowly and expresses itself in our bodies as disease and in our psyche as rage. When we lose touch with ourselves we lose touch with our divinity, and because we don't trust ourselves we come to believe other people can't be trusted. For some people the pain of the past it's so great they believe the only way they can cope with it is to blame and deny. Meditation: pg. 110 of The Dark Side of the Light Chasers

My goal has been to read this book as part of self help and recover from a podcast where he referenced it - he was a guest on the Charlie Kirk show. My sub personality I met on the 'bus' was of my mind was 'Angry Adam'. He told me to imagine when I'm angry with someone imagine their mom and dad, how their child is failing but they love them anyway. It's okay to be angry. It's not okay to say hurtful words. I need to be set free, surrender me up to God.
